Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department officers and Owyhee County Sheriff's Deputies ended their search for a missing Grand View man Wednesday afternoon.

The body of Ted Thomason, 66, was found shortly before 5 o'clock, about a mile from where his truck was found early in the week, in southern Twin Falls County.

A preliminary report says the cause of death was exposure to the elements.

Thomason was reportedly driving from his home to Mountain Home and has not been seen since March 9th.

Owyhee county officers believed he was suffering from dementia and could have been confused. According to an Owyhee County press release, Thomason is a white male, bald, 5’ 6”, and 225 pounds.
