Twin Falls, ID - The trial for a Buhl man facing perjury charges has been delayed. Robert Barton Junior, 40, is charged with 1-count of criminal conspiracy to commit perjury, and 1-count of criminal solicitation.
Barton is accused of offering to change his testimony against Christopher Mark Taylor, who's accused of grant theft and other charges. Barton's trial was scheduled to start this week; that's been cancelled and a new trial date hasn't been set.
Meantime, a suspect in drug trafficking of methamphetamine has agreed to change his plea to guilty. Nathaniel Thomas, 25, is charged with 1-count of possession of a controlled substance.
His wife, Whitney Thomas was also arrested and has been referred to drug court. Both people were arrested at a home on Alderwood Avenue where they're suspected of operating a meth lab in the garage. A sentencing date for Nathaniel Thomas has been set for June 21st.
