Twin Falls, Idaho - Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary in U-S Army Specialist Bowe Bergdahl's captivity; Bergdahl of Hailey was discovered missing during his unit's roll call one year ago in Afghanistan.

He was captured on June 30th.

Rear Admiral Greg Smith, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Communication says, “We continue our efforts to determine his whereabouts and ensure his safe return.”

Two events will be happening Wednesday in Hailey for the anniversary; at noon, at Zaney's River Street Coffee House on North River Street, a spokesman for the family will read a statement; immediately after locals will be putting up yellow ribbons in Bergdahl's honor.
