TFPD scouring area for shooting suspect

Twin Falls, Idaho - A neighborhood in Twin Falls was covered with police Monday afternoon; they were looking for someone they believe may have been involved in a shooting at a local hotel.

Twin Falls Police were searching Third Avenue North for a man they say possibly shot a woman around two p-m at the Comfort Inn.

The victim was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center and then life-flighted to Boise; her identity and condition has not been released

For police; this incident proves you never know what can happen.

TFPD Lt. Craig Stotts says, "I think that you always have to be prepared for things that happen. Twin Falls is a great place to live, but unfortunately, we do have things like this that occur once in awhile."

Police are asking for your help to find Thomas Trevino, 30, who is a person of interest.

He was seen leaving the area of the hotel and is described as dark skinned, black hair, brown eyes, 5’10”, and 170 pounds.

The suspect last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark jeans and had a dog with him.
