TWIN FALLS, (ID) An afternoon accident causes many to be without power in Twin Falls. Police say a semi truck turning onto Eastland Drive South to head north cut the corner and ran over a guide wire.. That pulled tight and snapped the pole in half. In turn the pole broke another pole and took out power to more than 1–thousand customers. Idaho Power says the two were critical customers at this point are amalgamated sugar and independent meat. Idaho power believes power will remain out until about six PM. There are two crews working on this. They believe they'll replace the pole because of the extensive damage.
