Student Driver Involved In Two Car Accident

Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT-TV) An accident at the intersection of State Highway 50 and 3600 East near Kimberly has left two people hurt.

The Idaho State Police, Rock Creek Fire Department and Magic Valley Paramedics were called to the wreck around 11:50 AM Saturday Morning.

A 16 year old student driver was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection in a red 2002 Chevy Prism. She was crossing through the intersection when she was struck by Hansen resident Bonnie Creech.

The 16 year old student driver was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley by Magic Valley Paramedics. The driver of the second vehicle, Bonnie Creech was also taken to the hospital. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

The westbound lanes of traffic of State Highway 50 were blocked for approximately two hours. The accident is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
