Americans Spent Billions Of Dollars on 2012 Halloween

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Halloween isn't only about tricks and treats; it's about stimulating the economy.

A record one hundred and seventy million people plan to celebrate Halloween this year with spending up to an expected new all time high of 8-Billion dollars according to the national retail federation Halloween survey.

The survey says, Americans spent an average of twenty-eight dollars on costumes.

Seven in ten Americans are into the haunting Halloween mood, up from last year.
