An Oregon Trail Elementary School Teacher Receives High Honor
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Twin Falls OfficeMax store gave back to a local school.
An Oregon Trail Elementary School teacher received the high honor of teacher of the year. Julie Delia has been teaching for 27-years and went home with $1,000 worth of school supplies from OfficeMax. Delia says she plans on sharing all the new gadgets with her entire staff. "I didn't know until she said 27-years and I'm the only person in the building who has taught that long and so then I knew. I never win anything, so this is pretty exciting. I just got this great feeling in my stomachâ said Julie Delia, Teacher of the Year. Since 2007, OfficeMax has contributed more than 18-Million in grants and school supplies to help support 29,000 teachers nationwide. Comments ( |
