Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Jerome County Fair is underway this week, and what better way to kick things off than the parade?
Thousands gathered along Main Street Tuesday evening to see the floats and snatch up the candy.
The rain didn't seem to scare anyone away as they enjoyed the festivities.
The parade has been a long time tradition in Jerome and a favorite for many locals.
"I was born and raised here, so we've gone to every parade every year of my life, and it's just a great way for the community to get out and get together and have fun and celebrate all of the accomplishments that these kids have been a part of," says Jami Butler, JMS cheer coach.
The Jerome County Fair will run through the week until Saturday, August 9th.
