Art Teacher’s Exhibit Opens

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A Jerome art teacher's art gallery just opened up, and it's already selling quickly.

Keith Farnsworth’s show, titled "Day Dreams," opened Tuesday at the Herrett Center for Arts and Sciences.

Farnsworth is an art teacher at Jerome High School, and he works in a wide range of media, including ink, acrylics, and 3-dimensional materials like clay and body putty.

Joey Heck, Exhibits Manager, explains why the work is so popular.

"You know, it’s whimsical, it has a sense of humor, most of it, and it's well executed. Keith prices his work very competitively, I guess is the best way to describe it. The people really like his style. When he was here in the group show, all his pieces sold out quite quickly. The show just opened up yesterday and we've already sold a number of pieces. I expect probably every piece will sell out," he says.

Farnsworth's exhibit will stay open until August 23rd, and all items are available to purchase.
