Artist Nina Sloan At Thousand Springs

Thousand Springs (ID) Walking around a festival sometimes something just catches your eye and you have to take a closer look.
Artist Nina Sloan from Boise was showing her work for the first time at Thousand Springs Festival.
Nina sloan is from the Ukraine and says creating on a canvass has always been in her.
She gets her inspiration from one of her teachers Fred Choate and from her students at Centennial High in Boise.
She teaches English and has students from 25 countries in her class. She says they are fun to work with and they are eager to learn.
One of Slone's pictures won first place in the Western Idaho Fair. Her husband entered it without her knowledge.
The painting is from a picture of a little girl in Africa her daughter took while working on her theses.
