Author Debuts Book Based in Idaho
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A former Sun Valley resident is debuting her novel.
Kellie Coates Gilbert combiners her thirty years of experience in the legal field with what it's like growing up in a tightâknit Idaho community in her first novel, "Mother of Pearl." The story takes place in the fictional town of Falcon, Idaho, but is based on the town of Eagle, just outside of Boise. "Mother of Pearl is the story of a high school counselor who learns her daughter got in an inappropriate relationship with a football coach. And, the book is unique in that it take a life changing event in a woman's life and helps her to understand that sometimes when those things happen you need to look outside yourself for help," said Kellie Coates Gilbert, Author.
