Meet a local mother with a 4 1/2 hear old son with autism. Hear what others say when she is in public and her son has an episode. He doesn't eat and is anorexic. His family is fighting to keep him off a feeding tube. Hear her struggles to find ways to help him and what his beautiful older sister has to say about how perfect he is.
Amy Starr is the manager at St Luke's Elks Rehab Pediatric Rehabilitaion and helps with speach. She met Karee Conner a mother who wanted to get the word out about understanding this growing problem. Last year statistics were 1 in 88 children and she says it's now 1 in 50 born with a spectrum. Every child is different and finding ways to find ways to help each child can be challenging.
