UPDATE: BLM Crews Douse Fire Near Golf Course Road

UPDATE MONDAY 9/10/2012 10:00 AM. The fire has been extinguished. Two BLM trucks are on scene monitoring the fire.
UPDATE 5:30 AM: Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Bureau of Land Management crews are still working on the fire near Golf Course Road.
Fire officials from Jerome are no longer assisting BLM crews.
Investigators are still working to find the cause of the blaze.
UPDATE: Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Golf Course Road has now re-opened after a wildfire scorched land near the Blue Lakes Golf Course.
The fire fortunately did not jump Golf Course Road. According to a photographer on scene, there were approximately ten emergency crews on site including Jerome and BLM.
Several Blue Lakes Golf Course employees were trapped at the golf course for at least an hour.
It's still unknown at this time what caused the fire.
ORIGINAL STORY: Highway 93 and Golf Course Rd. is closed and so is Golf Course Road and 100 East.
The fire is burning on the west side of Blue Lakes Rd., but it will likely jump the road.
No structures are being threatened at this time and it's not clear what sparked it.
