Crews were able to protect all the structures in the area although our reporter tells us that a couple of power poles were burned and crews were keeping an eye on them to make sure they didn't come crashing to the ground. Dietrich, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Bureau of Land Management firefighters with assistance from the Dietrich Fire Department are on the scene of a rangeland fire north of Dietrich. Kelsey Dehoney with the BLM said four engines, two single air tankers and a water tender have been dispatched to the fire that is 50 acres in size. The fire is being driven by winds. A fire investigator has been sent to the scene to determine what started the fire. The blaze was reported to the BLM at about 12 noon. There are unconfirmed reports that there are some personal structures and property are in the line of the fire. Idaho Power crews responded to a request by the firefighters to disconnect power in the area. Lynette Berriochoa with Idaho Power said 432 customers in the area are currently without power after it was disconnected around 1pm. So far there have been no reports of damage to the power poles or lines in the area. Some of the roads in the area have been closed near the fire.
