BSU Hires New Golf Coach

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Boise State University made a big announcement Tuesday surrounding the golf program.

The university hired Dan Potter as the head golf coach. Potter comes to Boise from Washington where he served as the assistant coach during the past two seasons.

His accolades also include helping two UW athletes reach the number one position in the world amateur golf rankings.

The Moscow native earned the Ben Hogan Award in 2013, the most prestigious award you can receive in college golf.

No rest for this new coach as his tenure with Boise begins Wednesday.
