Back To School Shopping Spree With Target
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Local kids had big smiles on their faces today.
Target and salvation teamed up for their annual back to school shopping spree. Target donated an 80-dollar gift card for the selected kids to purchase new clothes for school The kids had their own personal shoppers of Twin Falls County Sheriff Officers, Firefighters, and Salvation Army volunteers. "This was strictly clothing, I do personally believe if a child dresses well that first day of school. Its look good, feel good, do good, it makes a whole difference on how there year is going to go and we are very excited to offer this opportunity” said Nicki Kroese Business Manager, Salvation Army. "It's very touching I think it's an amazing thing that we are able to help these kids and give them a brighter outlook for their school year and I it really makes us feel really good” Dawn Sanders Associate, Target. Children from Hope for the Hungry, Victory House, The Mustard Seed, Martha and Mary's soup kitchen, and Salvation Army were invited to the shopping spree. Comments ( |
