Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) - With back to school coming quicker than you might think--It's time to start getting your child immunized for the school year. And the south central public health district is making the process easier than ever.
Right now you can make an appointment at any of the Magic Valley locations.
August is National Immunization Awareness Month. And South Central Health strongly encourages parents to take this opportunity to keep their children better protected with up–to–date immunizations in preparation for daycare, back to school and college.
"If you have insurance the immunizations are covered... they're a preventive awareness covered for those children,” said Cheryle Becker, South Central Public Health. “If you don't have insurance we have immunizations. There is an administration fee... but the actual vaccine is not charged."
If you would like to make an appointment you can contact the Twin Falls office at 737–5966.
