Baker retires after 35 years with BLM
JEROME, Idaho (KMVT-TV) After 35 years, a local BLM official has retired.
Bill Baker spent nearly 35 years with Elko, Shoshone and Twin Falls BLM offices. A 1977 Washington State University grad, Baker moved up the chain of command with the BLM...starting out as a staff member and then eventually the district manager for Twin Falls, a position he's held for the last 21 years. Now it's on to the retired life. Bill Baker, Retiring Twin Falls District Manager says, "what we're going to do after retirement is wait until springtime and decide what we're doing. We're not really travelers so we'll be involved in the community." Baker retired back on December 31st. He says his wife and the BLM organized his retirement party. Comments ( |
