Barnes & Noble Book Drive Benefits Non-Profits

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The annual Barnes and Noble Holiday Book Drive is underway and local organizations are already experiencing the benefits.

The Twin Falls store chose the 5th judicial district CASA program and the "Read and Feed" project with CSI and ISU education students as the two local recipients.

CASA was at the location Saturday wrapping books and accepting donations.

The non–profit helps roughly three hundred children of all ages in our community.

“Our executive director was telling me the other day that when some of the kids were receiving books they went ahead and asked them to write their names in them. And, they said gosh are you sure, you mean we get to keep this," said Kathy Floyd, CASA program.

Holiday book drive recipients nationwide include schools, libraries, literacy organizations, family social service agencies and homeless centers.
