Bear Aware: A Warning For Campers
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Sawtooth National Forest is reminding people to be aware of attracting bears.
Campers are encouraged to be vigilant about storing their food do as not to attract bears. That's because during dry summers like this one, the bear's natural food supplies may be scarce, which means they'll likely go in search of food. Improperly stored food becomes all too tempting for the hungry bruins. And, once a bear finds food near humans, it's likely to come back. Comments ( |
