Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Bickel Elementary School in Twin Falls is receiving a technology grant for the upcoming school year.
The school is one of 15 schools in the State of Idaho that will share 3 million dollars.
They were selected from 99 different schools that applied for grants totaling 26 million dollars.
Bickel will receive 400 tablets for students and computers for teachers.
"It will make learning just incredible. Instruction will be individualized, and then we'll get to see what they do themselves. We really want to use it as a tool," explains Megan Morris, grant leader.
According to the Idaho State Department of Labor, Bickel has a poverty level of 76 percent.
The grant will fund 163 thousand dollars for the devices and projectors.
