Hailey, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) After last Friday morning's break-in at Wood River High School, a new safety and security task force has been proposed.

All local law enforcement personnel, first responders, parents, and school staff are invited to join the task force. The new group was proposed by Blaine County Director of Safety and Security Scott Manning.

Heather Crocker with the Blaine County School District says, "They'll look at all issues of safety and security from facilities to drugs and alcohol, bullying. Everything that comprises safety and security."

Crocker says they've increased security at all Blaine County schools this week. She says the safety and security task force will most likely meet once every three months.

If you'd like to join the task force or find out more about it, please call the Blaine County School District at 578–5000.
