Twin Falls (ID) A new building on Bass Lake a part of Blue Lakes Country Club has been christened.
It's first event is an evening featuring local products.
This feast with local fair was Jim Dutt's idea from Magic Valley Distributing;
Dutt says we may take our area for granted and not know all the variety of wonderful products and produce this area has to offer.
Dutt says buying Idaho everyone wants to do it but this is about buying locally what these suppliers here have graciously done is supply products for this event.
He also says they do this event on the eastcoast called The Endless Feast and that's basically what this is based on it's designed to showcase the local chefs the local producers and just have a good time and enjoy the food.
The local vendors are Ballard Cheese, Clear Springs Trout, Cloverleaf Dairy, Homestead Meats, Falls Brand, Glanbia, Independent Meat, Jim Bob's Bakery, Proost Family Farms, Rite Stuff Foods, Magic Valley Distributing, moss Green Houses, Party Center.
FOX 14 Diane Dean was there and says the grass fed beef free range pork and snow leopard salad was wonderful. Nothing like home grown!
