About 700 people came to the event that was hosted over a three day period.
There were five different classes for women, men and children.
Cheryl Bell and her family are always out during the fourth of July weekend shooting targets at the Magic Mountain Resort.
"As a family we try and go to the archery shoots every weekend that they have them, which they start in May."
The club wants to appeal to more families, and is happy with the outcome this year.
"We are a family oriented club we want to get these young kids involved in the archery as a sport and keep them going."
Getting through two courses and forty targets at the end of the
Day every child walks away with a prize.
Family time is the biggest prize to Bell.
"It's a great sport for a family, we like to go camping, 4 wheeling, plus teach the children the respect of the animal the hunt and the discipline it takes to shoot."
"When these kids shoot what do we say...aim small miss small."
