Veterans Organization Benefits From Local Car Dealer's Efforts
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) A statewide veterans organization is the latest beneficiary of a car dealership's philanthropy efforts.
Lithia Chevrolet is known for its charitable efforts. Representatives from the dealership presented a check to Brave Hearts Idaho. The organization was formed four years ago and supports veterans through tough times. This includes anything from paying power bills to emergency home repairs. Friday's ceremony came after Lithia made a pledge to donate $25 to the cause for each vehicle sold. Brave Hearts Idaho received $4,600. "I looked at that check and it brought tears to my eyes. They have done such a great job to support a great program," says Paul Hawkins, Ret. Command Sergeant Major, United States Army. Any non–profit organizations looking for community support can stop by Lithia Chevrolet. Comments ( |
