Bronze Sculpture Dedicated In Hagerman Saturday

By Jeff Gomske

Hagerman, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Nearly the entire city of Hagerman came out to see the dedication of a bronze sculpture from a local artist.

Commemorating the importance of sheep farmers was the focal point of Saturday's ceremony.

The huge crowd of well over 100 gathered across from the sculpture at the LDS Church.

Several speakers talked about the importance of sheep farming not just to Idaho, but to the Nation’s economy as well.

Lt. Governor Brad Little, a former sheep farmer himself, was on hand to help dedicate the memorial.

The beautiful sculpture was done by artist and win Falls resident Danny Edwards.

He was commissioned to do the project last year and it took the better part of 12 months to complete.

Brad started off making furniture for a living before going full-time into sculpting.

His next project is a bid for a business on the East coast which he couldn't go into detail about.

Brad stays busy with projects pretty much year round and still has a passion for doing what he loves.
