Buhl Public Library Gains More Funding From Tournament
Buhl, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Sixty local businesses sponsored a golf tournament that helps the Buhl Public Library.
They gave the tournament a very fitting name, Tee Off for Books. All of the money raised goes towards the operation. And their goal...between three thousand and five thousand dollars. "We have just about every library works out here today and plus all the people on the Buhl library board and also the Buhl Library Foundation which is about 11 people," adds Steve Kaatz. "We just needed operating money, computer money and it will go for a variety of things," says Janet Smutny. 17 teams turned out for the tournament which pleased the organizers, especially since it's a first ever event.
