Buhl Students Attend Career Fair

By Brandon Redmond

Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Buhl students had an opportunity to start thinking about their careers Tuesday afternoon. The school invited organizations like the Forest Service, BLM, Glanbia and others to speak to students. School officials want students to start thinking about their careers as early as middle school.

"We want these kids to recognize their dependable strengths so they can start pursuing careers that make sense for them. Not just looking at careers that make a lot of money. Maybe its not right for them so we want them to know what kind of traits each career requires," said Adrea Storey of the Buhl School District.

The career fair was organized by the Buhl gear up program. The program is a federally funded grant by the department of education.
