Burley 8th Grader Raising Money And Turkeys For Mission
Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) One Burley eighth grader is thinking about more than just herself this holiday season. She is raising money and turkeys for Helping Hands Mission in Burley. The mission helps people at Thanksgiving and during the holiday season. Local stores in Burley are helping the cause by donating free storage space until Thanksgiving for the turkeys.
“I'm raising turkeys for helping hands mission to help them donate them to families who cannot afford turkeys or just need like comfort or yeah support. Anything to help for thanksgiving or Christmas,” said Ashlynn Carver. If you want to help you can donate money or turkeys. Donations can be dropped off at the First Baptist Church at 2262 Hiland Avenue in Burley. Comments ( Most Viewed |
