Burley Public Librarys Semi Annual Book Sale

By Joey Martin

Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - If your idea of a good time is sitting back in your favorite chair and picking up a good book... then over the next 3 days the Burley Public Library is the place to be.

Starting this Thursday and continuing until Saturday the Burley Public Library is holding their semi–annual book sale to help raise funds for a few library programs.

Over the next three days, during regular library hours, anyone interested in picking up a good book at incredibly low prices can stop by and browse their collection.

At the sale readers can look through a collection of well over a thousand books that includes everything from children's books to all fiction and non–fiction classics.

The books are all separated into their own price ranges.

All hardback copies are only a dollar.

Large paperback will run you a staggering 25 cents, with regular paperbacks only costing 15 cents.

And for those young readers out there, all of the children's books will cost you only 25 cents.

“We’ve got some very very fine books. Especially if they’re interested in history, if they want children’s books, plus all of our usual selections. You won’t find a better price anywhere and you know that whatever you spend on books goes to benefit the Burley Public Library.”
Said Kathleen Hedberg for the Burley Public Libaray.

And for those looking to pick up a large supply of books, every section at the sale features some special bundling prices and even one section that will allow you to fill up a bag of books for only a dollar.

The library is located at 1300 Miller Avenue in Burley, just off of Main Street.

And will be open from 10 to 6 on Friday and again on Saturday from 10 to 5.
