Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) This Thursday, Southern Idaho's largest non–profit investors group gathered to help celebrate 25 years of continued dedication to economic growth in South Central Idaho.

Business Plus is a private sector economic development group made up of 100 % local business owners and organizations.

The group set out with a mission to help promote and grow economic activity in the ever growing Southern Idaho region.

In more than 15 years, Business Plus has helped to attract more than a 1,000 new jobs to Southern Idaho, paying above–average wages in solid, non–retail industries.

This Thursday group investors gathered inside the Magic Valley Arts Council auditorium to celebrate Business Plus's 25th anniversary, discuss future investments, and to hear from a few special guest speakers.

"You know, groups like Business Plus are one of the bedrock foundational pieces of what makes Idaho so successful. Its communities like this pulling together, businesses pulling together that make a community and region attractive is a critical part that allows us to move forward." Said the Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce, Jeff Sayer.
