Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) 5th graders from the Twin Falls School District made their way to the CSI Expo Center this Wednesday.
They were all there to take part in the 12th annual COW career show.
COW stands for Careers on Wheels.
Around 600 students made their way to the expo center for this annual event.
The exposition is designed to show local students a wide array of careers offered here in the Southern Idaho area.
The event also gave local business a chance to show our youth what their careers are all about.
“were here to make sure that our 5th graders in the school district get a view of what it’s like to be different things… different professions. Give them an idea of what they can be when they grow up. They won’t necessarily want to be that, but at least it gives them the idea.” Said Oregon Trail Elementary Counselor, Iain Laird.
Around 55 different organizations participated in Wednesdays event.
They ranged from veterinarians, physical therapist, police and fire departments to KMVT’S very own Live Truck Operation.
