CSI Corn Maze Opens, Raises Money For Student Clubs

By Jay Michaels

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) It's time for the corn maze at the College of Southern Idaho to open up again.

The CSI Horticulture Club plans the maze and plants the corn. Then other CSI student clubs help run the concession stand for a couple of nights each. And those clubs get a part of the overall proceeds that the corn maze rakes in.

Taylor Anderson, CSI Equine Club Member, says, "There's not supposed to be anybody scaring in there, but maybe Halloween night we might have some scary stuff going on, maybe a costume party. We have concessions, we have hot dogs for $2, chips and drinks for $1, and candy for $1."

This year the CSI corn maze is just north of the Health Sciences and Human Services building off of North College Road. Parking is available at the end of the gravel road.

The CSI corn maze is open from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. every night through Halloween. The price of admission is just $2 a person for adults age seven and up, $1 for students with ID, and kids six and under get in for free.
