Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The College of Southern Idaho's Housing Committee took a tour of the school's new apartments going up on the southwest corner of Falls Avenue and Washington Street North today.
Overall, the project is staying on schedule, and a CSI spokesman says they expect the apartments to be completed by next June. The diamond shaped layout features 40 two bedroom apartments. CSI students will have the first crack at renting the new accommodations.
CSI Assistant Physical Plant Director Allen Scherbinske says, "Shortly after that time period, students have the first opportunity to move in. And after that, excess rooms that are leftover, they will be open to the public for rental."
This location was chosen because students wanted to be able to walk to their classes at CSI instead of having to drive.
