CSI Offers Free Breakfast To Bicycle Riders

By Jay Michaels

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The College of Southern Idaho is encouraging teachers and students alike to ride their bicycles to school this week.

They're calling it “Bike to CSI Week.” A student representative says it's to show how important bicycles are when it comes to commuting. She says CSI will be rewarding everyone who pedals to campus this week.

Angela Ellis, Senator with the CSI Sustainability Council, says, "Here's a tough one. Give up your cars for the week, save some gas, get a little exercise, enjoy the sunshine. And we're going to give you free breakfast here at CSI if you ride your bicycle to school."

Ellis says that free yogurt, bananas, oranges, and other healthy food will be served from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. this week. You can just swing past the bus stop between the Taylor and Fine Arts Buildings at the college.

Ellis says that bicycles save gasoline and are a great way to exercise.
