CSI Hosts Miss Magic Valley Pageant
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Sometimes the girl next door grows up to be Miss America.
In Twin Falls, 14 girls between the ages of 13 and 24 will be competing for Miss Magic Valley. It's the first step on the road to Miss Idaho, and then possibly Miss America. The local pageant will hand out a total of $5,000 in scholarship money to the girls who participate. Deidre Edmunds, Miss Magic Valley 2011, says, "They'll be doing their interview in the morning, and then in the evening is the onstage portion, which is swimsuit, onstage question, talent, and evening gown. So they'll be competing in all those different portions to get their score, and then at the end of the night, there will be four different girls crowned." The Miss America program hands out $45 million in scholarships every year. The Miss Magic Valley pageant will be held at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night, Friday August 3rd, in the College of Southern Idaho's Fine Arts Little Theatre. Tickets at the door are $12 apiece. August 2, 2012. Comments ( |
