Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Today was the first day of the spring semester at the College of Southern Idaho.
A CSI spokesman says about 7400 students have already signed up for classes this semester. That's slightly more than a year ago. But there are a few more opportunities you can still take advantage of.
Doug Maughan, CSI Spokesman, says, "We will be enrolling students all this week for our regular credit classes. We will also have some late starting classes that will be for the benefit of those people who don't get in right at the very first of the semester."
Maughan says about a thousand students will also be signing up for dual credit classes at 70 Idaho high schools. He says sometimes students have to drop classes due to family or work situations. But Maughan also points out that more people have gotten jobs, which means fewer of them are attending CSI now.
