CSI Plant Sale Will Benefit Partially Paralyzed Student
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A College of Southern Idaho student was paralyzed from the chest down after a car accident a month ago.
The CSI Horticulture Club is hosting a plant sale to help out their classmate Andrew Silveria this Friday and Saturday. The sale will be held in the greenhouses on the west side of the CSI campus beginning at 12 noon tomorrow. CSI Horticulture Club Member Angela Ellis says, "Home Depot has donated materials so his mom can expand her hallways to fit his wheelchair. But she's going to need people to take care of some of that work and she may have to pay for some of that. And he's going to have some big hospital bills." Ellis says the net proceeds from the sale will be deposited in a Home Depot account for the family. She says the Horticulture Club Plant Sale will be held from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow night, August 3rd, and Saturday August 4th from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. That's in the greenhouses on the CSI campus.
