CSI Welding Club Auction Coming Up

By Jay Michaels

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The College of Southern Idaho's welding program is holding its annual fall auction this Saturday, December 1st.

The doors of the CSI welding lab in the Desert Building will open at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday. You can take an "up close and personal" look at everything from picnic tables to gun cases – floor and table lamps – coat racks and mailboxes – and even a replica of a small horse drawn wagon.

Welding Instructor Brian Sprinkle says, "They've made all kinds of different things, from water fountains. We actually have a gentleman who made something for hunting called a Bumper Dumper. It's kind of unique and funny. But a lot of different cutouts and wall art."

Proceeds will help pay for welding students' travel expense when they travel to participate in competitions. Some of the items sold will benefit a local family in need.
