Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A local non–profit organization is trying to help children who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

"Kids Count Too" is holding a campout on September 21st and 22nd at Camp Kum–Ba–Yah in the South Hills.

The campout is for kids age six to sixteen.

Each child will be paired up with an adult big buddy, but it also gives kids the opportunity to help each other.

"It's really great to watch. One kid says oh yeah I had that same problem or I did it this way, you know. So, you know kids help each other," said Travis Strickler, Kids Count Too.

The registration deadline is Friday September 14th.

Send requests forms to P.O. Box 5533, Twin Falls, Idaho 83303.

Or call Revis Turner at 404-2310.
