TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT) Sweets for the sweet. It's hard to go wrong buying candy for your sweetheart for Valentine's Day, as long as you buy the kind of candy they like. The good news is there's plenty to choose from.

Mark Huber, Owner of Daisy's Oldtime Confections, says, "On Valentine's Day, our specialty is going to be a chocolate covered caramel, it's in the shape of a heart. We sell just lots and lots of these hearts."

Huber says he sells at least a thousand of these chocolate covered caramel hearts for Valentine's Day every year. He says since he opened Daisy's back in 1994, he's had plenty of repeat customers, as well.

When it comes to a special day like Valentine's Day, planning ahead is one way to relieve the pressure of forgetting until the last minute.

Shella Rinard, Designer at Absolutely Flowers, says, "The beauty of flowers brings color and fragrance, and it's such a wonderful way from our hearts to say, you're special to me, I love you."

While there are other ways to spark or reignite romance for Valentine's Day, like a nice dinner, candles, or some lingerie, for many of us the tried and true methods seem to work the best. And no matter how old or young you are, cards, candy, and flowers seem to do the trick.

Huber says, "Anything that's chocolate, people like to have for Valentines. We sell a lot of boxed chocolates, half pounds, one pound, two pound boxes of chocolate."

Rinard says, "Sometimes in our daily lives we get so busy with all our work that the most cherished people in our lives, and we need to spend more time telling them how much we love them."
