Canvassing The Election Results

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Results are now final from last Tuesday’s election.

Monday morning, the Twin Falls County Commissioners canvassed the results from all seven school district elections.

The Hollister precinct saw the lowest turnout, at 11 percent.

On the other hand, the Murtaugh precinct reported the highest voter turnout, with 56 percent.

"That's really good for an outer lying precinct. We tend to see those outside of Twin Falls, that high of a turnout; that's great. They really got the community out to vote," says Twin Falls County Clerk Kristina Glascock.

Overall, nearly 20 percent of the registered voters in the county participated in this election.
