Burley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT_TV ) Voters last week in Cassia County decided on a more than $774,000 supplemental levy. The two year levy passed 60% to 40%.

Now the school district can defray portions of costs associated with school budgets, classroom supplies, transportation, utilities and much more.

"As far as textbook purchases are concerned, that's quite a process that will involve the community of course, teachers and administrators, and the money that was save for that, that will be set aside as the process takes place," explains Debbie Critchfield, Cassia County School District.

Critchfield adds, the remaining funds will meet other district needs.
