Hansen, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The city of Hansen is holding their own Fourth of July celebration this Thursday.
And residents are looking to the skies for a good show.
This morning a parade kicked off the festivities. Followed by a large bingo party took over the city park.
Then this afternoon, starting at 5, a city–wide pot–luck barbeque was held with officials anticipating hundreds in attendance.
For a small city like Hansen, celebrations like these go a long way in showing the strength of America.
“It just brings everybody together, kind of a family community and it helps raise money for our Rec Department and just kind of have a good holiday.”
Said Todd Stimpson, Hansen Recreation Director.
Following the barbeque the Hansen firework show will kick off at around 10 pm.
According to officials, residents will be able to see the show from basically any location in town.
