Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) On Monday, city officials and chamber members gathered at the new Public Works building in Twin Falls for a ribbon cutting.

The city purchased the building from the original owner who had it in trust.

Many locals may recognize the location as the former site of Sun Valley Stages.

The water and wastewater departments are accommodated in the 20,000 square foot building.

"First of all we have the water and sewer departments all under one roof and we can share resources and coordinate more efficiently and all of our inventory is one location so all of our projects just are more efficient," explains Jon Caton, Public Works Director, City of Twin Falls.

The location is on South Park Avenue West.
