Chobani CEO Wants Road Safety Improved Following Accident
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Kimberly Road was closed for part of the evening due to an accident.
The incident happened just after eight when police say a Chobani employee didn't yield to oncoming traffic and struck a minivan.
Both of the van's occupants were taken to the hospital as well as the Chobani employee. They each had minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Chobani told us Saturday night he petitioned the city to lower the speed limit on Kimberly Road.
They accomplished that feat, lowering the speed limit from 60 to 45.
The company also requested a stoplight be placed at the entrance as well.
