Cities Of Twin Falls And Kimberly Meet To Discuss Future Growth

By KMVT News

Kimberly, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Twin Falls Mayor and City Manager spoke to the Kimberly Mayor and City Council Tuesday evening to discuss both cities’ future.

The goal is to get both communities to work together as the cities grow.

One of the biggest concerns is to make sure it can provide the same quality of service for new residents.

That includes waste water treatment, police, fire and other civic services.

"We've made a commitment tonight and stated that commitment, as one that we have also had in the past, is that we will openly communicate with the Mayor and Council and the citizens of Kimberly of what our intentions are, as we work to build a better Magic Valley together," explains Travis Rothweiler, Twin Falls City Manager.

The Kimberly City Council is open to discuss any future development opportunities with the City of Twin Falls.
