Civil War 150 Coming To Library

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Civil War 150 is coming to the Twin Falls Public Library this week.

This national traveling panel exhibition takes an in–depth look at the culture, the sacrifices and legacy of the Civil War.

From March 26th through April 13th, the library will feature an exhibit and programs. If you're a history buff or interested in this time period, this is not something to be missed.

"We asked for it this year so we could tie in some of the Idaho territorial sesquicentennial stuff," adds Jennifer Hills, a reference librarian at the library.

Programs at the library begin Thursday, March 28th at 7pm. starting with Sherri George.

She is a civil war re–enactor and will have uniforms on display, even weapons of the Civil War soldier. Check back with the library for other programs featured during this exhibit.
