The Twin Falls optimist club is hosting their annual event 'coats for kids.'

The program helps provide coats for children during the cold winter season for kids across the magic valley.

This year they have already received more than 400 requests to give out coats.

"We ask that we get gently used warm winter coats. We can't use hoodies or sweatshirts, or jackets. It's very important they're winter coats, like the ones you see here," said Danae Kimes, President of The Optimist Club.

There are various drop off bins around the magic valley.
